Management of employment

We aim to increase the employment of young people and the long-term unemployed together with the employment services, social work and other town units.

We also provide support for companies, associations, organisations and foundations in terms of employing persons who are entitled to pay subsidies.

1.1.2025 Employment services will become a part of the services of municipalities

TE Offices have previously overseen employment services, but from the beginning of the next year, employment services will become an essential service offered by municipalities. This means that next year, you may contact your municipality with issues regarding employment. 

We offer employment services with other municipalities in the Raahe Employment Services Region (Raahen Työllisyysalue). You will find more information about the change and the Raahe Employment Services Region in this Ajankohtaista post on our website (currently only in Finnish). 

If you are already a customer at the TE Office, you do not have to do anything, even though the service provider changes at the beginning of the year. We will inform you on the change on this page and contact you personally when needed.
