If you suspect you have the coronavirus

The following signs are associated with the coronavirus infection: fever, cough, shortness of breath and muscle pain and/or tiredness. f you suspect you have the coronavirus, stay home if you have mild symptoms. If your overall condition gets worse, please call: 

  • the Oulu University Hospital’s health guidance helpline, tel. +358 8 315 2655 (open 24/7)
  • coronavirus guidance helpline in Raahe, tel. +358 40 1358 530 (open from 10 to 16).

It is important to call before you arrive to protect others from possible exposure.

National telephone service 0295 535 535

A new national telephone service provides general information about the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). The helpline provides general information on coronavirus, but does not provide health counseling or guidance in acute symptoms.

The telephone advice service is open on weekdays from 8 to 21 and on Saturdays from 9 to 15. The service is currently open in Finnish and where possible, also in Swedish ja English. The service will be expanded according to developments on the coronavirus situation.
